Part 2 ECI MISSION AND DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
MISSIONS STATEMENT
Elijah Company, Inc. exists to mentor career missionaries to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unreached nations.
We do this be identifying, imparting to, instructing, and impelling.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
1. We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, written by men as they were moved by the Holy
Spirit, and that it is the sole authority for Christian faith and conduct.
2. We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, perfect in holiness, Infinite in wisdom, and unlimited in
power.
3. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is Gods only begotten Son, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life,
died on the cross in a vicarious sacrifice for sinners, rose again bodily on the third day, and ascended into Heaven.
We believe that He now appears as our High Priest and Advocate to make intercession for believers. We believe in
the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this blessed hope has a vital bearing on the
personal life of the believer.
4. We believe that unredeemed man Is totally depraved and is helplessly lost in sin and doomed to an eternal Hell of
suffering; that the blood of Jesus Christ is the only means provided for mans redemption and eternal life in
Heaven; and that this grace must be personally received and appropriated through faith, at which time Gods Holy
Spirit indwells the believer.
5. We believe in the Church, the body of born-again believers of which Christ is the Head, that it is an organism
brought together by the Holy Spirit for worship and the proclamation of the Gospel throughout the world.
As our extended statement of faith, Elijah Company, Inc. adheres to THE LAUSANNE COVENANT.
